Since the date at which it reached 100 cases of COVID-19, Mexico has suffered 52% greater mortality than would be expected for the same dates in normal times.
Lithuania, Portugal, Austria and France have had excess mortality rates of 21%, 14%, 10% and 10%, respectively.
Mexico's worst point of the pandemic so far was the nan beginning on 17 January 2021, in which the country experienced 27,551 more deaths than would be expected for that nan of the year.
